To effectively manage development projects end-to-end, you’ll need to demonstrate first-class communication skills within your team and with all stakeholders. You’ll need to have a passion for programming, and be proactive in your approach to work – not settling for anything but the best you can offer. And we’ll also look for you to show creativity in problem solving and take an organised approach to each challenge.
 

As a Development Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

- Proven experience of all phases of the systems development lifecycle
- Solid skills in C++, UNIX, and a major RDBMS
- Demonstrable experience of working with rigorous change control policies in an IT environment

As a Development Manager – C++, UNIX your main responsibilities will involve:

- Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and external teams to enact change and drive improvement
- Managing a development team focused on exposure methodology change
- Providing leadership to remote teams in London, Switzerland, and Singapore
- Designing and implementing new server functionality, as well as developing code to implement business logic
- Testing and promoting code, while adhering to [INVALID-WORD]nt rules and procedures throughout the entire project lifecycle
