CAD Drafter Job in Houston, Texas US
As a CAD Drafter, you will make detailed manual or computer drawings of products from sketches and specifications conceived by engineers and designers. The finished drawings are used as working plans for engineering and manufacturing purposes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Solid Works and Rivet.
- Ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Ability to handle several jobs at one time.
- Ability to read blueprints, including schematics.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills.
- Possess problem-solving abilities.
- Computer literate.
- Good organization and communication skills, both written and oral.

- Mechanical Drafting/Design
- Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC Drafting/Design
Education:
- A.S. degree a plus.
- Auto-Cad Certificate
- 2+ years related experience required
