Technical Officer – Electrical Communications Systems Modification – AutoCAD/Microstation Drafting
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a down to earth and dedicated team, involved in the integration and modification of complex and safety critical technology. Supporting a variety of projects and teams you will be taking the lead in producing comprehensive and detailed CAD drawings, utilising Bentley Microstation software.
Your experience with Microstation will ensure that your smooth transition into this interesting and challenging role. Providing a critical and supportive role to the ongoing success of multiple projects this is a critical position within the business.
Primarily involved in projects that include radio and data communication systems, power supplies, UPS’s and electrical equipment, you will also be involved in projects ranging from building support services to civil works, this is not your usual humdrum.
A self starter you are keen to learn and challenge yourself. Supported by a team of dedicated professionals this role will see you;
- Updating and improving Microstation drawings and schematics
- Developing integration drawings of systems and products
- Liaising with external suppliers to deliver solutions
- Assisting with designs of electrical and civil projects
- Develop 2D 3D diagrams and drawings

Ideally you will have experience from a multidisciplinary environment, where you have been involved in a diverse range of projects. You are tertiary qualified in electrical, electronic or systems engineering, holding an advanced diploma or associate degree as a minimum.
This position is based in the northern suburbs.
