About the Job
- Assist in the management of incoming CAD data from sales and operations
- Process and manipulate native and neutral CAD files to a useable format
- Others, as requested
- Receive, verify, package and ship projects, as needed
- Manage shipping quote requests for domestic and international shipments
- Resolve lost or damaged claims with shipping providers
- Assist suppliers with using Quickparts shipping system
- Process custom’s requirements for project to ensure timely delivery
- Others, as requested
- Develop and maintain sample part cataloguing system
- Complete requested supplier surveys
- Others, as requested
- Process all requests from team in a timely manner
- Continually study to improve knowledge of how to manipulate CAD systems
- Provide accurate data for all requests
- Record and track projects in service request system
- Process all projects per the procedures
- Treat customer with unprecedented interaction
- Own the problem
- Minimum of 1 year parts design/manufacturing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or one to two years related experience and/or training
- Expert in Solidworks or Pro/Engineer
- Willingness to listen to customer needs and respond appropriately
- Computer literacy with Internet and office applications
