Role Summary/Purpose
This position involves maintaining and developing Pro-e Wildfire 4 top down designs for GE Appliances in a large, complex assembly environment.

Essential Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for: • Manipulation of the top down designs to look at cross sections, interferences, and clearances • Detailed conceptual design modeling • Modifying existing drawings/models • Creating first release drawings • Documenting releases via an electronic change notice • Working with a global New Product Introduction team

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:• Minimum 2 year mechanical/technical degree• Must be an expert in Pro-e Wildfire 4• Skilled in TDD (Top Down Design) techniques• 10 years of experience in a large mechanical assembly environment• Skilled in 3D modeling and an expert in drawing structure and tolerancing• Must be comfortable working in a high pressure NPI environment• Analytical and organizational skills• Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally and cross-culturally • Strong desire to work within and support the team environment
