Description: Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, visual basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, etc. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language. Must understand CAFM or IWMS fundamentals (space management, leases, master planning, relationships between CAD objects and RDBMS keys, etc.). Working within a formal consulting methodology and experience with government clients is a plus. Qualifications Experience: 5 Years experience. Experience with ARCHIBUS Web Central (WC) and WC development tools. Experience in WC application development tools such as .net, flash, JavaScript, Java, xml, html. Follows industry best practice in application programming, testing and documentation. Developer must have understanding of Dbases, SQL and WC application including: ARCHIBUS FM (AFM)workflow logic and configuration Ability to modify stock AFM views and tools and create AFM views using WC application tools and access non-AFM data stores (using .net, Java etc) Understanding of dbase best practices and ability to modify, update and create Dbases Ability to develop SQL to query AM data stores including native AFM dbase and related AM data stores Education: Bachelors Computer Science, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline. Desirable: Working knowledge of ShowRack, BIM and other CAFM systems such as MAXIMO.
