Looking for a highly skilled Cake Designer/Decorator to create innovative cake designs for customers, photo shoots, trade shows, demonstrations, training videos and more…
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative, fresh, on-trend cake designs for all occasions and seasons
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop designs
- Decorate for photo shoots with camera ready quality
- Train customers in traditional and/or innovative decorating techniques
- Create video based decorating demonstrations
- Create and deliver decorating presentations to customers and trade show attendees
Requirements:
- 5+ years of design/decorating/training experience
- Background of in-store decorating experience a plus
- Proven excellent creative decorating and design ability
- Proven photography ready decorating skills
- Excellent buttercreme decorating skills
- Experience utilizing royal icing
- Proficient with fondant decorating techniques
- Skilled with airbrush application
- Knowledge and awareness of new decorating trends and techniques
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Some travel required
