Calibration/PMEL Technician Job in Madison 35758, Alabama US
Due to continued growth, Technical Maintenance Inc. is recruiting for a Calibration Technician for our Madison, AL lab. This position requires demonstrated knowledge of several key areas of metrology including AC/DC, RF, temperature, and physical/dimensional. You will have experience calibrating and troubleshooting the following types of test and measurement equipment: meters, scopes, signal generators, power supplies, counters, temperature devices, pressure, physical/dimensional items, and torque. You will also have the aptitude to develop and maintain calibration procedures as needed. The ability to work unsupervised and unsurpassed dependability is required.
Job Requirements:
PMEL or other applicable training with a minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in the metrology field
Outstanding customer skills and attention to detail
Experience with quality systems such as ISO 17025 and uncertainty calculations is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Ability to be a leader and work unsupervised
Positive, eager to learn attitude
US Citizen
Valid driver's license
Some overnight travel
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
