Call Centre Advisor Job in Manchester, North West Uk

A repairs and maintenance company call centre are needing to recruit Call Centre Advisors on a temporary basis.

The role will be to work as part of a team in a customer services centre, providing a quality telephone service for housing enquires (repairs, rent accounting, re-housing queries, tenancy and environmental issues), repairs for public buildings and bus stations and incident management calls. This involve working during times which are not normal opening hours and involves shift work.

The post holder will liaise with contractors to ensure that responsive visits are undertaken within agreed operating procedures and confirmation of their outcomes relayed back and all relevant information logged onto in-house IT systems. Working rotating shifts you will be working evenings, weekends and nights.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge and experience:
Excellent customer care skills
Ability to deal accurately and courteously with a wide range of telephone enquiries, including calls which may be complex or distressing in nature
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with all sectors of the community as well as client organisations and contractors
Accurate quick typing and good IT skills
Following procedures in verbal, written and on-line form
Making quick decisions on a range of housing and other issues
Carry out simple maths calculations and be able to explain them to other people
Excellent team working skills
Flexibility in working hours and changing workload demands
