Calling all Big 4 Financial Services auditors wanted to pursue Product Controller roles recruitment
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Report daily PL, including understanding risk positions and market moves for PL explanation.
- Understand system and control framework and apply to daily work.
- Perform front to back reconciliation and control sub ledger PL and balances
- Work closely with global counterparts and help to implement best practices in Asia
- Gain an in-depth understanding of accounting and provisioning, and perform month end calculations and reconciliation.
- Review and substantiate the balance sheet in an analytical manner.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet review meeting with manager
- Manage daily/weekly PL and commentary submission to regional and global management.
- Handle ad-hoc management request for various management reports
Requirements:
- Accounting degree preferred (Banking and finance degree graduates are open to apply too)
- Solid accounting skills with knowledge of IFRS as it applies to Financial Instruments (IAS 39/IAS32/IFRS7/IFRS9)
- Experience in auditing financial institutions are preferred
