My client is looking for a Calypso Developer to aid in building and maintaining capability within the system. The successful candidate will be responsible for the front to back functions, workflows within Calypso
Responsibilities:
• Able to liaise with the business to understand requirements and can present solutions clearly and concisely
• Self starter who will drive resolutions and improvements rather than just follow instructions and maintain the existing status quo
• Able to take a complex issue and identify the causes and prioritise the analysis necessary
• Driven to achieve fast results and provide solutions
• Able to cope with issues not previously encountered and approach them in an analytical way
• Capable of delivering a root-cause analysis and the executive communications required for each incident while handling multiple questions/issues
Skills
• Experience of the Calypso application
• Experience in coding in Java
• Presents examples of applied creative thinking, innovation and problem solving skills
• Experience of multi-threaded software development
• Exposure to high quality current software development practices with agile software development, unit testing, continuous integration and dev/qa/prod release
• Proven ability to support dynamic business environments using complex technology and processes
• Experience writing custom code against the Calypso application (workflow / interfaces / engines etc)
• Experience managing Helpdesk calls with Calypso Support
• Experience working and communicating with IT professionals and end users at all seniority levels
