Campus Recruiting Analyst recruitment

Role Description:

The firm is looking for a recruiting analyst to join BlackRock's Campus Recruiting team in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience providing high volume coordination in a fast paced, demanding environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about developing relationships, project management/event coordinating and planning, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer service and support to our Blackrock businesses as well as career services offices at top universities across the United States.

The role provides an extraordinary opportunity, as part of a small and close-knit team, to contribute to the growth, development and execution of BlackRock's campus recruiting strategy as the firm works to further strengthen its on-campus recruiting presence at top schools across the United States. Responsibilities:

• Provide support to campus recruiter throughout the management of the campus recruiting process
• Plan and execute all logistical aspects for campus events such as information sessions, interview days, career fairs, conferences, networking and other marketing/recruiting events to enhance BlackRock's brand on campus.
• Build strong relationships and partnerships at university campus career centers
• Coordinate recruiting efforts at target schools
• Build strong relationships with multiple campus teams across businesses to ensure best practices are maintained, budgets are followed and recruitment goals are achieved.
• Partner with Team Captains to develop and implement school specific recruiting strategy.
• Brief and debrief Team Captains and recruiting teams before/after each event.
• Assist with the summer internship program including evaluation process, event management and offers.
• Manage 'Superday' interviews and logistics
• Based on experience and ability, it is anticipated that this individual will have primary recruiter responsibilities for 1-2 target schools
• Perform other tasks as assigned: create offer letters, manage background checks, update and utilize the applicant tracking system (Taleo).
• Manage interviewing/onboarding efforts and communicate with candidates throughout the interview process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Open requisitions via internal job postings and post job descriptions on university career services websites
• Respond to both internal and external general inquiries about employment and recruiting process.
• Assist in the generation of reports and metrics.
• Work effectively with various HR related functions including payroll, technology, and services.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years' experience in a recruiting, human resources or comparable role.
• BA/BS degree
• Must have excellent communication and proven customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment while providing strong internal and external customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook). Experience with Taleo Applicant Tracking system and Oracle a plus.
