Cancel & Correct Business Analyst / Data Analyst recruitment

Primary Function

The candidate will be the single point of contact in EMEA for all user inquiries. 

Provide defect research during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all phases and respond to user questions during same.
Lead meetings with managers and subject matter experts to define and gather requirements and overall objectives for business deliverables.
Define business rules to enrich, transform, and normalize data across multiple systems for business deliverables.

Create and review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and Scope Confirmation Documents (SCDs) for business deliverables.Overlap time zone activities between US and APAC.

Secondary Function -

The candidate will be the single point of contact in EMEA for all EMEA trade feeder systems inquiries as well as defining ETL specifications for enrichment, transformation and normalization of data.

Lead the effort for EMEA feeder systems to understand, identify appropriate systems and processes to ensure development and on boarding of data feeds are in line with business requirements. 

Must be able to understand nuances in trade and reference data feeds from a multitude of asset classes including equities, fixed income, listed and OTC derivatives.
Create Feed specs , Data Analysis documentation, and ETL specs

The candidate requires

 - Strong trade and reference data knowledge including full trade lifecycle knowledge in multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, listed and OTC derivatives, commodities, FX. 
 - The ability to liaise with trade and reference data source systems to explain project data requirements and be able to unit test data feeds using standard SQL tools.
 - Strong business analysis skills.  Must be familiar with user interface design to maximize user experience, use cases, and test cases.  Must have worked within the data warehousing and business intelligence workspace.

Essential Skills -

Strong Business Analyst  experience in Investment Banking Operations. 

Experience with trade data from multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, listed and OTC derivatives, commodities, FX.

Experience in Investment Banking or financial services Operations / Experience with reference data such as security, account, and customer data.
Experience working with large and disparate sets/types of data.
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Ability to build consensus. 
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Quickly grasp and master new requirements and related knowledge
Monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
Ability to work independently, multi-task and take ownership of various parts of the project
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
