Responsibilities include:

* Act as a key resource in the strategic and business development process flowing from the strategic plan.  Where appropriate, manage to delivery the development of business initiatives, or act as a key resource and challenge for business areas as they develop and deliver their plans to meet business goals.

* Create and lead presentations to internal leadership and executives, outlining potential scenarios, initiatives and outcomes.

* Formulate and propose plans for business development as part of the planning process in order to deliver annual income, balance and volume targets in line with agreed business objectives.

* Develop, manage and maintain relationships with colleagues to maximize business opportunities and obtain/exchange information and where necessary establish and implement best practices and liaise with the business units to ensure resolution of any operational or service level issues.

* Monitor and assess the effectiveness of new strategic initiatives, including recommendations to terminate, modify or continue with the initiatives.

* Monitor industry, market, customer and regulatory trends to ensure that business opportunities are defined and developed in order to deliver an appropriate response that protects and develops business benefit for the Group

* Drive and monitor the business performance against the agreed business objectives and define, develop and implement activities to ensure business objectives are met including the analysis of complex information from various sources.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in finance, business managment

* 10+ years of experience within a global financial institution

* Must have experience within corporate/commercial banking and served in a business management/COO/Chief Administrative Officer role

* Must have experience managing international stakeholder relationships

* Must have understanding of US banking and regulatory environment
