Capacity & Availability Manager

My client, a London based financial organisation, is looking to recruit a Capacity and Availability Manager on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be required to:
• Provide support for investment projects in respect of Capacity and Availability Management
• Review and maintain policies, processes and procedures for Capacity and Availability Management
• Develop, produce and, wherever possible, automate regular reports
• Process Lead SME for the Capacity and Availability Management processes, accountable and responsible for managing, maintaining and improving related processes, procedures, tools and techniques.

The successful candidate will have the following:
• Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth commercial and technical expertise in IT Capacity and Availability management
• Experience within Financial / Banking environment
• Minimum of ITIL V3 Foundation certification
• Strong understanding of client/server services running under VMware, Windows and Linux
• Advanced MS Office skills, Powerpoint and Excel in particular including VBA macro automation
