Capacity Trader recruitment
YOUR JOB:
- Signalling and acting on commercial opportunities with regard to location, time spreads and capacity trading in all continental gas markets
- Purchasing or selling mid- or short-term transportation capacity in primary or secondary markets in order to optimize the portfolio
- Providing constant support to the gas traders on tariff calculations on gas transportation and storage
- Participating in transportation or storage capacity auctions
- Setting up and participating in different energy balancing regimes
- Analysing historical flows in order to determine likelyhood of future constraints
- Responsible for the accurate and timely bookings in the transaction management system
- Providing training and support the operations departmen
- Reconciling monthly capacity invoices
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bacholor Degree in Business, Economics or similar, or equivalent combination of education and job experience
- Minimum three years related experience in gas transportation
- In-depth knowledge of the gas transportation business in most EU countries, electronic bulletin boards, transportation, storage contracts and TSO`s tariffs
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel including macros, pivot tables, look-ups and filtering
- Excellent analytical skills
- Very strong commercial driven mindset combined with being a true teamplayer
- Ability to handle time-pressured deadlines on an hourly and daily basis
- Strong ability to multitask with attention to detail
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken), any other language is considered an advantage
