Capital Management Manager VP recruitment
My client is a leading corporate bank, who are looking for an experienced capital management professional. The role requires the candidate to investigate and understand the capital demand (as opposed to working on the capital supply side) of their businesses, and to investigate and understand the effect of RWA consumption on capital.
The candidate will also have to the chance to work heavily on RWA forecasting and optimising, and to consider what new initiatives may be beneficial for the business. The VP will be expected to run meetings, drive change programmes, measure performance of businesses and to decide on whether to reinvest, depending on actual and forecasted return on equity. There is also scope for an AVP level candidate to join, who should have at least some experience post professional qualification, and knowledge/experience working with capital.
Key requirements for the role:
- Capital knowledge and demonstrable experience working with Capital over the past few years, and Regulatory understanding (not merely regulatory reporting).
- A professional qualification – either ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA.
- Experience within, and knowledge of, Corporate Banking (including their products), is a strong advantage.
