Capital Markets Application Systems Engineer 1

Support the order management production system (NOVA) daily basis, find the root cause of any issues, propose the solution and implement. Design and Implement functionality's which are requested by the business lines.

Support / implement any requirements by compliance to make sure the NOVA systems are compatible with the regulations.

Support / implement NOVA development environments systems such as compiler, Maven, Nexus tools and etc.

Design / implement the next generation of Electronic Trading service systems

Participate in code reviews for change-sets and UAT tests

Participate in design reviews for changes and provide inputs for team members

In general, participate in all activities of SDLC (software Development Life Cycle)

Basic Qualifications

5+ years experience in application development and 3+ years experience in the securities industry.

Minimum Qualifications

The job regularly has application development responsibilities that require: 1) working knowledge of mathematical modeling constructs substantially similar to one, or more, of the following (either as an individual contributor or in leading others): advanced mathematical concepts, such as financial engineering/advanced calculus/statistical modeling/concepts of probability; theoretical pricing characteristics, e.g., the Greeks; and/or expertise in developing technology in support of multiple, complex risk and/or pricing models which require ongoing evaluation based on market fluctuations, such as VaR, Counterparty Potential Future Exposure, stochastic modeling, derived market data and stress testing; 2) extensive experience in the capital markets business and processes, e.g., pricing of derivatives, trade lifecycle, electronic trading/algorithmic trading; and 3) working knowledge of SEC, FNRA and International Regulations in building technological solutions. 5+ years of hands on development experience in order management systems and/or high frequency trading.

Understanding of capital markets structure.

Strong C++ backend server development background and understanding on multi-core and low latency implementation in UNIX

Good templates and C++11 experience

Strong Java experience (including JNI/JNA)
