About the Job 

Capital Markets front office business reporting and technology specialist.

Essential Job Functions 

The position will be responsible for the following front office business tasks:

Business client reporting, data maintenance and Ad Hoc analysis - entails creating, managing, and supporting business financial and customer reporting using MS Access, MS Excel, and other enterprise provided database reporting systems.  Custom report requests and ad hoc query creation will be frequent.  Data cleanup is required for accurate management reporting.

System and Transaction support will entail becoming an expert on all business applications to quickly resolve problems.  Business applications include all trading applications, sales tools, research workflow systems, and all KeyCorp standard applications.  Business support of trading applications would benefit from a Series 7 license.  Work with Key Technology on new technology implementations.  Perform and certify business testing of new systems as well as code changes and code releases.  Support capital markets technologies for line of businesses and Operations, Regulatory, Compliance, and Risk departments.

Technology and administrative projects will entail representing division on technology projects managed within the business and when utilizing Key Technology resources.  Become subject matter expert on departmental tasks and securities products traded to expedite project completion with minimal impact to LOB professionals.

Disaster/Recovery Coordination will entail assisting with the management of the division’s DR plans, performing DR testing, and working will all branches to ensure their knowledge and compliance with DR plans.  Manage BIA and LDRPS plans.

Required Qualifications 

Ability to work on a fast paced, dynamic trading floor

Self motivated, ability to work with little supervision, detail oriented, multi-tasking, proactive thinker

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong skills in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets.  MS Access Databases, SQL, VB abilities a plus

College Degree, focus in Business and/or Technology

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of Brokerage Industry preferred, but not required

Series 7 preferred but not required
