Summary
The FO / OTC Middle Office business have embarked on a strategic 'change-the-bank' initiative to implement Client Facing Technologies. This initiative is an umbrella program whose remit covers all the Asset classes (including OTC) across lines of business and has visibility at the CXO levels.
Cognizant is seeking to hire experienced Capital Markets Consultants to drive the scoping and requirements gathering in the Collateral Management and Reporting work streams.
Key Responsibilities
Skills Experience
- Candidate will need to display comprehensive infrastructure and cross-product knowledge to ensure strong project governance and control
- Experience in the all the phases of a Project Lifecycle
- Experience of Listed OTC derivatives middle office and/or back office processing
- Knowledge of Collateral Management, Client Valuations and Reporting functions
- Knowledge of multiple asset classes and products within an Investment Bank
- Knowledge of the end to end lifecycle of derivative trades
- Proven experience in Collateral Management, Reporting and Client Valuations
- Experience in working on large-scale programs and coordinating with multiple work streams
- Stakeholder governance
- Experience in gathering requirements
- Experience in working in the Global Delivery model partnering with the offshore teams
- Ability to understand and highlight project risk, adjust to changing workloads and adhere to strict deadlines
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to be innovate and improve processes and system capabilities
- Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making
- Strong analytical, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently; able to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
