JOB TITLE: Capital Markets Operations Analyst
Farm Credit Bank of Texas, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is a $14 billion wholesale bank that provides funding and services to rural lending institutions in five states and is active in the capital markets. Established in 1916, the cooperatively owned bank is part of the Farm Credit System, the nation’s largest source of financing for agriculture and rural America.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field, or commensurate experience. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years experience in working with syndicated or participation loans or a minimum of two years of loan accounting experience. Account reconciliation experience. Excellent computer skills including strong knowledge of MS Excel, and ability to query databases. Ability to accomplish accurate detailed tasks in short timeframes; must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently to complete assigned projects. Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills are essential. Loan IQ, ACBS, or equivalent experience preferred.
Essential Functions:This position will be responsible for the processing of and ensuring the accuracy of all transactional activity related to syndicated and participated loans. Will work with credit, legal, finance, and other departments to ensure the accuracy of complicated loan agreements in the loan accounting system. Work on projects related to reporting, tracking, or maintenance of loans within the loan accounting system. This position requires independent judgment in the application of generally accepted accounting principles as it relates to loan accounting activity.
