Capital Markets – Product Analyst (entry level) recruitment
Ipreo is currently seeking bright and ambitious entry-level Software Product Analysts (Jr. Business Analysts). The Product Analysts will have an opportunity to be part of a team at Ipreo, responsible for managing Ipreo's financial software solutions. Some of the skills learned and applied are Client Services; Sales and Training; Product Development, Data Research, Application Testing Demonstration. The position will gain an overall understanding of our business and be given an opportunity to use and sharpen varying skill sets.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Defining Business Requirements
- Writing Functional Specifications
- Managing Client / Product expectations
- Management Support of Product Lifecycles
- Providing clients with expert product assistance and troubleshooting of our products services via telephone and in person
- Quality Assurance Testing
- Running SQL queries
- Maintaining data feeds into the application
- Training and Implementation.
Skills/Background:
- BA or BS in a related field
- 0-1 years’ experience (Familiarity with Capital Markets a plus.)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Knowledge of full product development life-cycle.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent listening skills, as this role requires heavy phone and client contact
- Demonstrated experience in building client relationships
- Self-motivated, takes initiative and enjoys the challenge of problem solving
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Experience with quality assurance testing
- Must be able to work independently yet be a strong team player/ leader.
- Ability to collaborate and work well with multiple organizational and functional departments
