About the role

The potential candidate will have 2-4 years experience and will work alongside the Head of Capital Markets to manage sell side relationships in Europe to maximise value in terms of quality and stability of execution around ETF Securities products.

 Key Accountabilities and Scope

• Main point of contact for all execution/liquidity queries

• Support and deepen existing relationships with sell side firms

• Broaden the number of sell side firms trading and distributing ETF Securities products

o   On screen market makers

o   OTC market makers

o   Brokers

o   Platforms

o   Exchanges

• Support sales teams as a “specialist” to provide support to end clients around ETP trading and execution

• Develop analytics to help drive sales

• Provide input on the product development process to ensure products are supported by sell side

• Explore new opportunities for revenue generation

• Promotional activity around ETP execution including PR, media, marketing, research

About you

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical

• A comprehensive understanding of the sell side landscape

• Proven business development capabilities, winning new clients and demonstration of relationship management

• An appreciation of the different approaches required for each client segment and ideally experience attracting and selling across all segments

• Knowledge of ETP’s and their appeal to investors

• Appreciation of the operational function behind the sale

• Strong Bloomberg, Excel and database skills (Excel to macro level)

Non-technical/Personal Skills

• Strong managerial and interpersonal skills, ability to lead by example

• Strong influencing skills, ability to motivate, to create and maintain relationships are paramount, team player

• Self-sufficient and self-motivated

• Languages: English (fluent), additional languages a distinct advantage (especially German, Italian or French)
