Seeking an experienced hedge fund sales executive in a green field opportunity to connect two established fund managers employing fundamental driven credit and emerging market strategies with investors in the family office, UHNW and private banking space.
The firm currently has a few strategic partnerships and is logistically and operational in a position to really grow AUM.
This hedge fund is able to offer a strong performance record over the last three years with strong performances in 2008 and the summer of 2011.Their established team which will hold up well under new investor scrutiny. The portfolio managers have a three year track record on the current platform and a much longer track record beyond the current platform.
The fund is keen to find a successful marketer familiar with credit and fixed income strategies who is looking to align themselves with a new fund/product.
The role will suit those who have a background selling this type of fund to family offices, fund of funds, IFAs, pension funds and HNWs. Initial effort will be focused on $2-25mm allocations to increase AUM from current $150-250mm level to allow for allocations from larger institutional investors.
The responsibilities other than generating new investors will be to implement a clear marketing effort and to provide a clear sales strategy from the outset.
