Capital Reporting Analyst
A well known Wealth Manager seeks a Capital Reporting Analyst to join a team that are responsible for the production of monthly capital reports for Group, business users and external regulators. You will also be working on an offshoring project.
You will be responsible for monthly capital reports by RWA exposure class and commentary on movements and other variances as well as reviewing monthly capital calculations and preparing adjustments. You will be liaising with other business areas including local Financial Controllers and Regulatory Reporting and responding to queries on capital reports and results. You will be producing monthly MI and FSA returns. Additional responsibilities include participating in UAT, preparing and submitting local regulatory reports and participating in other internal reviews. You will be working on ad hoc projects including transitioning existing BAU processes offshore.
Do you have relevant experience within financial services? This role will suit candidates with a finance background, knowledge of the current regulatory environment, capital management or risk management. If you have strong IT skills, an awareness of Basel II/BIPRU and experience of the FSA rules and returns then this could be the perfect role for you.
Qualified Accountant (or equivalent)
You must have good analytical and communication skills, attention to detail whilst working to deadlines and delivery focused.
