Role Summary/Purpose
In your role as Technical Advisor, you will answer questions, resolve issues and process approvals related to the maintenance of Fleet vehicles in a professional inbound / outbound customer service call center environment. Our customers rely on your expertise to when making decisions about the care of their vehicles.
Essential Responsibilities
Interact with suppliers (dealerships, national accounts and independent garages) utilizing mechanical expertise to negotiate maintenance and repair cost savings and warranties for Fleet customers
Answer incoming calls to validate issues, repair history and pricing
Initiate and execute best practice sharing and process improvements with team
Mechanic, Service Writer, Technical Advisor, and Auto Automotive
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Customer service experience
Two years experience or training as an automotive mechanic, service writer or similar capacity
Strong background in the automotive field
Flexible to work varying schedule to meet the needs of a 24/7/365 call center and may require working evenings, weekends or holidays
Eligibility Requirements:
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT.
