Responsibilities:
- Inpatient care of cardiac patients, including but not limited to daily patient visit / rounding.
- Facilitation of multidisciplinary rounds consultation.
- Discharge of patients and coordination of patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current MN RN license.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Drug Enforcement Agency Number.
- Minimum 2 years experience in CV Thoracic Surgery.
- BLS certified.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, developing and managing patient treatment plans.
- Must be able to work with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
- Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Medical Terminology required.
- BLS.
Pay,Benefits, Work Schedule:
- 40 hours per week.
- Day shifts.
- Every 4th week-end.
- Non-contract.
