Care Experience Practice Leader

This position is responsible for the delivery management of consulting services in areas of key organizational importance supports leadership in the definition attainment of organizational goals. Essential Functions: - Leads large-scale process redesign/improvement efforts designed to facilitate attainment of key organizational objectives - Provides leadership expert consultation on the design, development, implementation of process programs related to practice areas - Sets the overall direction of the practice to address key organizational issues - Staffs projects to ensure that teams are composed of individuals w/ appropriate skills expertise - Ensures that client organizational needs are met consistently - Collaborates w/ other Practice Leaders to provide support to regional CSA leadership in the pursuit attainment of organizational goals - Support will include setting priorities for strategically focused areas, identifying opportunities for improvement, advising on specific areas of expertise - Provides leadership in the development dissemination of best practices across regional departments - Establishes effective working relationships w/ peers both internal external to KP - Fosters a customer oriented work environment w/ emphasis on dedication to helping customers, respect for individuals, highest standards of quality, innovation, empowerment, teamwork by developing implementing policies practices that reflect the vision of Kaiser Permanente - Supervises develops staff coaches develops employees according to their strengths, creates a structure that will promote self-directed work Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Substantial experience, 7 or more years, 3 of which in health care consulting project management - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field required - MA or MBA w/ concentration in Organizational Development or related area, Ph.D. in Organizational Development or related field preferred - Understanding of KP operations competitors, economic, social, legal environment - Proficient in team building, conflict resolution, group interaction, project management, budget management - Excellent skills in complex analytic problem solving, project management, change management, group process - Ability to determine the key business issues develop appropriate action plans from multidisciplinary perspectives - Ability to lead professionals through influence collaboration - Ability to define the strategy provide overall direction to a specified practice area - Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
