Carrier Procurement / Carrier Management Manager - Dallas TX
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage carrier recruitment programs aimed at adding carrier capacity to support company operations.
Develop and manage carrier loyalty programs to assist in recruiting and retaining carriers, along with contractors and agents.
Provide brokerage operations with a current daily listing of available carrier capacity
Manage carrier procurement process.
Develop quarterly carrier scorecard metrics and quarterly communication with key carriers with respect to carrier performance.
Supervise Carrier Qualifications employees.
Requirements:
Five years transportation industry experience
Good spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, reading, organizational and interpersonal skills, and reasoning, problem solving and analytical ability
Intermediate ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule from
Basic knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations
A four year, college degree preferred
High School Diploma minimum
