Description: Responsible for all aspects of client supervision and program operations. Implements all Agency policies and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of clients, Agency property and the community. Provides safe environment while facilitating counseling, advocacy, and support. Responsible for general case management duties including intake assessment and individual and group counseling. Tues 9am-5pm, Wed Thurs 12pm-8pm, Fri 11am-7pm, Sat 9am-5pm Duties: A. Staff Development and Supervision: Maintains accountability for clients? location at all times and has knowledge of and implements all Agency policies and procedures governing facility operations including: * Client Supervision * Key Control * Head Counts * Rounds of Facility * Monitoring of client location and visitors * Emergency Procedures * Inspection Collects urine samples and completes related paperwork and breathalyzer testing as required by contract. nspects common areas, outside grounds, and client rooms and implements supervision policies and procedures. Inspects client rooms, facility common areas and outside perimeter on a daily basis to include alarms, doors, all window and door locks, lighting and fire safety equipment. Supervises client meals and kitchen area. Monitors client visiting and maintains visiting log (residential). Coordinates discharges with referral agencies. Monitors client behavior and implements Agency behavior management procedures as needed. Mediates and resolves client problems and handles all emergency situations in a calm manner in accordance with Agency policies and procedures. Coordinates and schedules client assignments to community service projects and assists with supervision of client at work sites. Co-facilitates groups as assigned. Supervises client work assignments and checks for satisfactory completion. Serves as positive role model following program guidelines for professional conduct and code of ethics. Develops and maintains professional boundaries and relations with clients. Assists clients in working on program goals and provides client services in areas of growth and responsibility, education, vocation, legal, family and friends. Collects intake data, develops and documents program plan goals with clients, monitors in the areas of treatment stipulations, job readiness preparation, and community resource referrals. Assists in client orientation as assigned. Makes recommendations to the supervisor for corrective action as required and monitors on an ongoing basis. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. B. Policy and Program Monitoring: Conducts sanitation and safety inspections of all internal and external areas and equipment. Documents all shift activities and incidents in log. Provides programmatic and statistical reports as required. Completes additional client paperwork, maintains files and performs other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor. Abides by Agency confidentiality policies and applicable confidentiality statutes and regulations. Maintains safety, appearance and cleanliness of the facility. Adheres to program procedures and enforces rules, regulation and policies. Recommends program terminations and directly coordinates returns to custody and handles emergency situations in accordance with policy. Responds to client and program crises and reports incidents to supervisor and program administrator as detailed in program incident reporting procedure. Implements maintenance and sanitation policies and monitors program resource. Attends and participates in staff meetings and supervision and on-going Agency training. Assists in training of other staff, volunteers and interns as assigned.
