Responsibilities
The Case Manager is accountable/responsible for the day to day treatment, management, disposition, and aftercare plan for his/her assigned patients with particular attention to taking responsibility for the prudent use of clinical resources. The Case Manager position requires flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills both with internal and external customers.
Ability to work in inpatient setting as well as ART and PHP
Coverage may be for vacations, illness, maternity leave.
Assignments may be for several days, 1-2 weeks, or more extended opportunities.
Opportunities exist to provide coverage for Clinical Case Managers and for Utilization Managers.
Qualifications
Education: Nursing: MS/MSN
Psychology: Ph.D.
Social Work: MSW
License: Appropriate Independent Licensure
Experience completing Utilization reviews for all levels of care desirable.
Conditions of Employment
Employment at McLean Hospital is contingent upon a successful CORI (Criminal Background Check), National Background Check and clearance from the Occupational Health Department.
