Our client is seeking a Case Manager II in Stuart, FL.
Earn $18.01 per hour at this full-time, temporary position. Work 40 hours per week.
SUMMARY:
Provides therapeutic client assessment/case management in determining appropriate level of care. Orient clients to Program requirements. Record keeping; and, assisting Clinical Court Services Manager. Track client.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Note: The listed duties are illustrative only and are not intended to describe each and every function which may be performed in the job class. - Perform clinical assessments, under the clinical supervision of the Clinical Court Services Manager.
- Determine eligibility and appropriateness for acceptance into the Program.
- Provide case management, tracking and reporting of client progress and court appearances for the same.
- Maintain client records.
- Attend staffing with the Drug Court Team to provide case management information and assure continuum of care on each individual client.
- Maintain client charts in compliance with 65-d.
- Maintain client case notes.
- Present educational lectures and structured didactic sessions.
- Independently compose correspondence for supervisor’s signature following established procedures.
- Keep a variety of bookkeeping/statistical information.
- Seek to keep knowledge of clinical issues current by attending required training; outside workshops and seminars.
- Performs related work as required.

- Knowledge of substance abuse assessment techniques and their application to Drug Court.
- Knowledge of the function of Drug Court, area referral sources.
- Knowledge of State statutes, appropriate federal legislation and local ordinances pertaining to substance abuse/Drug Court.
- Ability to understand and carry out moderately complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to achieve rapport and establish working relationship with Program clients, their significant others and members of the Drug Court Team.
- Office practice; computer skills, typing; filing; record keeping.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field and Certified Addiction Professional (or CAP eligible).
- Experience in social service setting with working knowledge of case management and planning techniques including experience in screening and psychosocial assessment.
- A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Possession of a valid Florida Class "E" driver's license.
