In this office-based telephonic role, you will communicate with employers, physicians, medical providers, patients, and claims professionals and utilize your multi tasking skills to effectively manage an assigned caseload of workers' compensation claims. After compiling all the necessary information, you will make sound decisions to evaluate and assess injury and disability severity, treatment plans, functional abilities and physical job requirements. You will then use your problem solving skills to establish case-specific target return-to-work dates.
 

We are seeking candidates with 5+ years clinical nurse experience with an emphasis in Orthopedic, Emergency Room, Critical Care, Home Care, Med/Surg or Rehab; Workers Compensation experience highly preferred. A degree from an accredited nursing school is required, Bachelors in Nursing preferred, and at least one of the following professional certifications is required: CCM, CDMS, CRRN, or COHN. You must also have a current and unrestricted RN license in the state where the position is based and be able to obtain RN licensure for other assigned states as required by law. You must possess strong communication, time management and negotiations skills, as well as adaptability, initiative, and excellent follow through. Must have intermediate computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office. Candidates with bi-lingual abilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
