Cash Analyst recruitment

The Cash Management function is responsible for managing the cash requirements for a range of pension fund clients including Fiduciary and DIS (Delegated Investment Services) clients. The role of the Cash Analyst is to provide administrative support to Cash Management. The Cash Management function deals with a variety of different activities including the processing of private equity cash-requirements and distributions, invoice payments, receipt of property sale proceeds and arranging for cash to be available for benefit payments.

- Adhere to our WorkExcellence principles to ensure that cash management activity is completed in a manner that adds value to our clients.
- Work with colleagues in the Implementation Team in order to provide a smooth and efficient service to our clients. This includes being involved in drafting instructions for clients to sign, processing cash transactions directly on to custodian proprietary systems, cash reconciliations, updating cash records and general administration (arranging signatures, faxing and filing).
Take responsibility for cash management activity to ensure that component parts are delivered efficiently and on time. Ensure that good attention to detail is applied at all times.Learn about the wider investment consulting business. Demonstrate risk-management excellence and ensure appropriate procedures are adhered to.
People
- Support the Implementation Team members in managing all parties involved when arranging cash activity.
Clients
Develop the skills necessary to liaise directly with consultant client teams and clients, managing expectations appropriately as well as providing clear reports on cash activities.

The Requirements:
- 3 ‘A’ levels one of which to be maths
- Project management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills to ensure that information and knowledge is shared and cascaded appropriately
- Ability to work on own initiative when required as well as in a team
- To be comfortable and have the confidence to liaise with third-party organisations and with all levels of staff within the practice
- A results orientated individual who has a logical and analytical method of working
- Desire to work in the investment industry and to study towards the IMC exam.
- Team-player with the ability to fit seamlessly into the wider group of associates all focussed on delivering work of exceptional quality
- Good IT skills (good knowledge of the MS Office package)
