Job Description

The Cash Management team is responsible for a large proportion of the firm's cash flows, through a global operating model.
The EMEA team manages bank wide primary cash positions, in support of Global Treasury, a key component of which is providing a forward projection view of 18 key currencies to enable effective liquidity risk management by the Global Treasury Liquidity traders.

In addition Cash Management are responsible for managing business specific bank accounts and Investment Products.

The department manages essential high-risk day-to-day responsibilities in addition to participation in a number of firm wide and business specific initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

To handle extremely large value transactions to the strictest of deadlines
Provide accurate, time critical projected views of key currency balances to Global Treasury Front Office
Build highly effective relationships with Front Office traders, acting as single point of contact for specific currency traders ensuring all aspects of the banks funding requirements are clearly communicated
Manage $80 billion Revolving Credit Facility enabling Global Treasury to accurately forecast requirements to the FSA on a daily basis
Communicate to various levels within all Lines of Business ranging from operations staff to business managers and front office traders.
Continually analyse information provided to them and challenge anomalies and discrepancies to resolution despite obstacles.
Continually strive to improve knowledge of external markets, regulations, products and internal processes and procedures.
Continually strive to improve processes under their control.
Have a flexible approach to working hours.
Be a team player.
Escalate issues when appropriate.

Candidate Requirements

Previous banking experience essential
Some cash management experience or settlements experience preferred
Knowledge of Cash Management systems would be an advantage
Applicants should be self-motivated, highly numerate and extremely accurate, team workers with good interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
The ability to cope with the strictest of time constraints and high value payments is essential.
Applicants should also have a good risk and control awareness
Good communication skills
