VP Cash and Transaction Manager

Purpose of Position
- The purpose of this role is to lead the Cash and Transaction Team which is responsible for the design, initiation, control and management of all cash flows and cash balances for both our client and our clients Funds.
- The team is part of the Operations and Finance Team and reports to the Head of Operations. The team will initially comprise of 9 full time staff with an experienced team member co-coordinating the Fund activities.
- The candidate will be expected to manage all aspects of transaction processing, cash management including working capital balances, FX trading, hedging FX exposures, short term securities inter-company transfers, the invoice and expense process, and the banking 10.11 relationships.
- The team also includes the virtual mail room to manage the distribution of documents through workflows and document management. The candidate will be expected design, implement and manage workflow and control procedures for all aspects of the team's responsibilities.
- Our client will be introducing electronic workflows to improve processing through the organization, this role will support the implementation of workflows where they relate to the day to day functioning of the role through providing input into design and supporting testing.
Knowledge And Experience Required
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Be Degree qualified
- Have experience in co-coordinating accounts payable functions and transactions processing
- Have experience in Cash Management including FX and hedging
- Have experience in managing banking relationships
- Have relevant professional qualifications
- Have experience of managing a team
