Position Description:

SunGard's London Shared Services Centre is looking for an experienced Cash Collector to assist its Collections Department with its European collection efforts. Currently, the Centre services approximately twenty SunGard businesses located in the UK and Continental Europe.
The individual in this role will work with SunGard's various Business Units and other shared services teams to develop and improve its collections and overall DSO. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices on behalf of various SunGard Business Units by phone, email or letter
• Build and maintain client relationships on all levels
• Resolve outstanding queries and communicate back to relevant parties in a timely fashion
• Update and maintain collection notes
• Liaise with SunGard Business Units on outstanding issues and tracking resolutions
• Multi level reporting
• Conduct/attend regular meetings
• Maintaining and developing various collection tools and processes

Position Requirements:
Essential Experience Required:
• Experience in European credit control
• Experience in dealing multi-level collections

Desirable Experience Required:
• Tax/VAT
• Software and licensing

Essential Skills Required:
• Verbal and written English
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Good general IT skills including Outlook

Desirable Skills Required:
• Knowledge of SUNv5
• Other language/s
