Cash Equities C# Developer – Hedgefund – Hong Kong recruitment
My client is a leading and cutting-edge Equities focused Hedgefund based in Hong Kong. They are seeking a talented front office Java developer to join their team for fully greenfield development of their Cash Equities electronic trading platform.
You will face off directly with Hedgefund traders and devise new greenfield and multi-threaded C# development strategies in realtime according to trading demands. This pressurized and technically challenging Hedgefund environment will allow you to nurture your development career and become a better developer. Your should have impeccable English communication skills to face off with the international business.
Beneficial skills:

-Cash Equities domain experience (a benefit but not a prerequisite)

-Investment Banking/Hedgefund experience
You should have at least 2 years experience as a software development professional with C# design and implementation experience being essential. If you are skilled in any scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Scala, Groovy or Ruby on the rails, this will also be advantageous. A strong candidate will be academically excellent, with a degree of equivalent in a numerate or computer science-related discipline. My client looks for the kind of developer that is totally passionate about coding - they need someone who loves to code rather than just doing it to pay the bills.
Preferably candidates should come from an Investment Banking or Hedgefund environment but if you are a particularly strong developer seeking entry into the financial services domain, do not hesitate to apply.
