A new and exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Cash Equities AMER onshore lead, Product Controller to join a global firm providing financial services specialising in Investment Banking, Wealth Asset Management.
The controller will operate within the Cash Equity team in the London-based group leading the support of the AMER Cash Equities Business.
The main elements of the role are:-
Supervisory review of the output from the offshore team via daily call and dashboard review
Liaison with the trading desk, business management, Operations and financial control teams, to discuss and resolve ad hoc issues concerning bookings, valuations, new business and other areas.
Manage the relationship with outsourced service providers, ensuring services are delivered in line with SLA’s and issues escalated and resolved in a timely manner
Ad hoc projects – Engagement in the purchase and ledger and balance sheet standardisation workstream
And ad hoc as the business dictates.
Strong analytical and communication skills required combined with a good understanding of the business environment.

Strong product control experience
Strong organisational skills with disciplined and structured approach
Clear verbal and written communication
Graduate – Honours degree
Qualified Accountant preferable (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar), demonstrable product control experience in an investment bank
Experience working with offshore service providers an advantage
