Department:

Working within the Currency Team the role requires candidates who show drive, initiative, accuracy and proven Client Service skills.

Global FX Operations provides operational services to the Investment Bank businesses across the globe that trade FX. Operating 24 hours from the start of the Sydney day, to the close of business in New York, the department handles around 22,000 trades daily, with an average turnover value of $250 billion.

The currency team is responsible for the timely and accurate confirmation of the Client base, and also the management of the day-to-day settlement and confirmation relationship.

Partnered with middle offices and other internal support areas; the primary responsibilities are relationship management, trade confirmation, and electronic confirmation monitoring using proprietary and vendor platforms and also full adherence to Funds Transfer Policy.
This is a dynamic and challenging environment working to give 'excellence in Client Service' where excellence in performance is recognized and rewarded.

The EMEA Desk works to cover the hours between 08:00 and 19:00 GMT.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Contact to ensure timely confirmation of FX trading activity
Adherence to FTP policy
Query resolution
Daily liaison with Front Office, Trader Support and internal businesses
Monitor daily work flows
Investigation and follow up of client issues
Assist in maintaining desk standard operating procedures
Project work
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven Client Service skills
Result orientated, flexible and motivated
PC literate - Excel, Word, Access
Ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail
Numeric skills
Must have a second language (French, German or Italian)
