Cash Management Operations Specialist recruitment

Position Summary:

Our client, an international bank, is seeking a Cash Management Operations Specialist to join their team. The Specialist will provide  support to the daily ACH and deposit operations of the bank. The Specialist will also liaise with the department head and cash management product specialists to provide guidance in delivering ACH operational and product solutions for customer accounts. 

Duties and Responsibilities

•Product delivery responsible person for ACH, Lockbox and Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) services

•Work closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders to implement current products and services as well as new products to be developed.

•Serve as expert user of the ACH and deposit systems utilized by production operations. Liase with IT support and vendor support as necessary.

•Prepare and complete annual ACH and Lockbox/RDC audits and risk assessments.•Assume a primary role to ensure the operation remains in compliance 

•Develop and prepare policies, and procedures relating to ACH, Lockbox and RDC•Maintain an awareness of trends and new developments related to ACH, Lockbox and RDC •Assist operational staff in researching and resolving any bank or customer related problems arising from ACH, Lockbox or RDC services. 

•Ensure operations team is properly reconciling and controlling all aspects of ACH, Lockbox and RDC processing in accordance with published procedures and regulatory requirements.

•Report statistical information on ACH, Lockbox and RDC volumes and dollar amounts.

•Represent bank as necessary on NACHA and Clearing House committees, presentations, conference, etc.•Occasional travel may be required. 

Requirements:

•Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification strongly preferred

•5+ years experience in commercial banking cash management operations and/or product management.Experience with ACH, Lockbox/Remote Deposit and Wire Transfers is required.

•Fundamental understanding of accounting principles as they relate to cash management products.

•Strong ability to use desktop applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

•Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent course work in related field and/or experience
