Cash Operations Manager recruitment

ASA's client is a global Investment Administrator who is looking to recruit a Global Cash Operations Manager.

With solid experience in Payment Services teams, you will be responsible for the successful running of a team of 3-8 employees, meeting all standards, objectives and duties necessary. The individual will be required to lead the team forward by implementing improvements and leading through change.

A sample of key duties would include:

oActing as a subject matter expert in Payment Operations to ensure relative processes run smoothly
oSetting Performance standards and responsible for training and development of staff
oWorking / Coordinating with Payment Mangers in other Geographical sites and Liquidity teams
oManage responsibilities relating to clean cash payments, Payment Queue management, routing of SWIFT messages, GBP Clearing and Reconcilement
oAct as backup for ad hoc duties in payment duty
oAssist with projects relating to system upgrades, testing, production UAT, disaster recovery affecting the business
oContinually assess development needs and process to seek improvement

Key Requirements:

oSignificant FS experience with exposure to payments area]
oStrong knowledge of SWIFT standards and CHAPs rules with expertise in payments
oExcellent communication (both written and verbal) and organisational skills
oAbility to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
oManaging / Supervising / Team Leading experience
oProficient computer skills including Excel
