Cash Team Leader recruitment

You will support daily cash operating processes by ensuring accuracy in daily cash balancing, account reconciliations and management of unapplied cash. You will manage a team of approximately 5 Cash Application Specialists and 4 Cash Operations Specialist.

Essential Responsibilities

•Lead a team of cash applications specialists cash operations specialists in accordance with company/regulatory policies and procedures; serve as technical expert and hire, train, develop and coach team members.
•Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reconciliation of all accounts; troubleshoot highly complex, unusual or problematic situations.
•Manage daily cash application processes resolution of unapplied cash including but not limited to approving Cash transfer workflow requests, overseeing check handling, executing unclaimed property due diligence, and managing and solving issues escalated by team members.
•Minimise operational risk by leveraging operational controls, identifying suspicious/inconsistent activity, notifying appropriate parties, and taking appropriate action.
•Partner with Cash Integrations to transfer Cash Operations activities.
•Help develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
•Drive improvement projects and implement new procedures designed to drive simplification, standardization, and compliance.
•Develop reports and metrics, and own and drive data integrity and completeness; provide performance updates to Cash Manager and internal customers (through cash calls).
•Act as the back-up for the Cash Manager

Qualifications/Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree and / OR direct experience in operations, accounting or finance field.
•Experience in customer service/administrative services roles.
•Cash applications experience.
•Management experience.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
