Our client is a multinational in the green energy and services industry. For this highly dynamic, fast-paced company we are looking for a Cash Treasury Controller. This is a new role within the organization with the focus of optimizing the global cash management processes and gaining further control on cash management. This versatile role connects finance, controlling and treasury in an attractive package, with great potential for your continued growth.
Job Description
- Responsible for cash management processes (planning, forecasting, actual reporting) and cash reporting, including variance analysis.
- Manages the cash flow forecasting process, including full consolidation for the group.
- Acts as owner/facilitator of all cash activities - collections, payouts, etc. - and interacts/engages all relevant stakeholders (sales managers, sourcing, finance, etc.) with the sole objective of maximizing cash generation.
- Optimizes the group's cash position and individual country positions by coordinating cash remittances among different organizations.
- Ensures that the company's overall short-term cash needs are met and that excess cash is concentrated and used efficiently.
- Responsible for operational hedging processes.
- Overall responsible for proactively managing cash target in order to fulfill debt covenants.
Job Requirements
- Education at University level in a Finance related topic
- 5-7 years working experience as a Business Controller or within a corporate Treasury function, a mix of these two backgrounds being ideal
- Experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
- Strong Excel skills essential
- Good presentation and PowerPoint skills
- Hard-working, driven, willing to learn and independent and able to build strong relationships
- Pro-active, self-starting, assertive, strong communications skills
- Fluent English skills (verbal and written)
