CASS Analyst
The CASS analyst will work together with the Compliance, Legal, Risk, Finance and Operations teams in London and Moscow.
Key Responsibilities (not limited):
- Enhance and monitor procedures and controls in line with CASS requirements;
- Working with other business units to ensure control processes are adhered to;
- Ensuring firm's operational compliance with CASS;
- Perform daily client money internal reconciliation;
- Preparing and submitting a CMAR to the FCA;
- Assist with drafting procedures, policies and other documents in relation to CASS through analysis of business operational systems;
- Monitor any changes or developments in relation to CASS requirements, ensure this is reflected in policies, procedures and operational practices;
- Produce regular reviews and testing of all CASS related procedures and controls;
- Ensure all CASS related incidents are recorded;
- Working with the firm’s auditors on CASS;
- Working with the firm’s consultants on CASS;
- Share knowledge on CASS with other business units of the firm;
- Ensure that CASS risks are pro-actively identified and escalated;
- Assist in the preparation of management information;
- Deal with ad hoc queries from all business departments.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
- Previous experience in a similar role within financial services preferred;
- Good financial regulatory reporting technical skills;
- Experience in Operational Risk, Compliance or Control and Audit;
- Hands on experience in dealing with CASS related functions;
- Broad knowledge of the FCA requirements and regulations;
- Good understanding of current and anticipated CASS UK regulated requirements and supervisory expectations;
- Attention to detail demonstrating diligent and conscientious attitude;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft, data analysis and data presentation skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing;
- Ability to learn rapidly and adapt to change;
- Good time management and able to prioritizes workload;
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimum supervision whilst ensuring that line reports are kept fully informed at all times.
