Casual Department Specialist-Urgent Care
(2- 3 evenings a week 5:00p.m.-9:00p.m every other weekend Saturdays 8:00am-5:00pm Sundays 11:00am-5:00pm)
The Department Specialist performs clerical and various procedures associated with routine patient encounters, schedules appointments, maintains positive relationships with patients, family members and employees and performs other duties as assigned by the Department Manager. Requirements include prior customer service experience, the ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations; excellent communication skills, proficiency with computers, dedication to patient satisfaction, the ability to work compatibly in a team oriented environment and maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Advanced educational training and medical terminology is helpful.
