We have the following opportunity for a qualified, highly motivated individual at our Bentonville, AR office.
Category Analyst
The Category Analyst will be an integral part of our Retail Category Analysis Team. In this position, you will work directly and indirectly with our retail customers and assist them in growing their total business by providing quantitative analysis and recommendations. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining complex reports using Excel and Access. The analysis of retail sales data and trends will be required to identify opportunities and provide insights. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with a high degree accuracy.
To perform this job successfully, this individual must be proficient with MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Retail Link, along with strong quantitative and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of Prospace and advanced query writing skills (using SQL or Access) in an Oracle database environment. A bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is required along with two to four years of related experience.
