Category Manager Customized Services
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting Global Head of Procurement in developing, implementing and communicating the corporate-wide Purchasing strategy
- Leading the development and implementation of the purchasing strategy for Customized Services (Professional-, Marketing- and similar Services)
- Establishing category priorities based on benefits opportunities
- Managing costs in the Customized Services category
- Establishing performance management for the Customized Services category and its suppliers
- Tracking category performance metrics
- Defining and developing an optimal collaboration between internal Stakeholders and Procurement
- Maintaining customer satisfaction metrics
- Optimizing supply base by moving towards a limited number of strategic suppliers
- Developing supplier relationship management strategies
- Leading supplier qualification and measurement for the Customized Services category
- Developing a negotiation and contracting strategy
- Leading process optimization programs
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Business or Engineering Degree, MBA Certifications: C.P.M., CIRM), CPIM
- Proficiency: MS Excel, Word PowerPoint, SAP/SRM)
- Previous Professional Services, Marketing or similar procurement experience
- Services Procurement strategy experience
- Contract Management
- Good financial and legal understanding
- Sound Purchase-to-Pay Process understanding
- Supplier and Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Sound RFx Experience
- eProcurement - Strategy Management
- Fluency in English
- Pharmaceutical experience is an asset
