Purchasing Managers and Buyers required to join the most progressive Food Franchise business in the WORLD! These roles are based in Kuwait and Dubai.

Food Buyers with specific purchasing Category Specialisms in either dairy, poultry, bakery, grain, packaging, produce, grocery or logistics are sought to work with progressive retail operations in the Middle East in this multi franchised operation.
These procurement roles would be based in Kuwait – but offer the flexibility for the Category Purchaser and Logistics candidate to be based in Dubai. There are however, in all roles, wide ranging travel opportunities. All procurement roles offer excellent tax-free salary/packages along with comprehensive ex-pat benefits including accommodation.
As an experienced buyer of either dairy, poultry, bakery, grain, packaging, produce, grocery or logistics you will be the expert – driving margin, innovation and security of supply on a world stage. You will need to add real value commercially in your capacity as a ‘Category Champion’ by guiding the business strategically, as well as tactically. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of consumer needs, too, by keeping up to date with market trends and be able to react to changes in demand, as this is a key element of these roles.
Your remit will include sourcing and developing key suppliers globally that will bring innovation and cost -value to your category. This will entail close liaison with a number of internal stakeholders including the Technical, Product Development and Supply Chain teams, to ensure relevant technical specifications and delivery requirements are met.
In addition to being an experienced buyer in one of the aforementioned categories, you will have a breadth of knowledge of a range of buying and reporting systems, and excellent negotiation skills. A track record of adding value to the bottom line though cost saving initiatives is also sought.
These roles afford a considerable amount of responsibility and autonomy in what is a busy and highly successful business that is rapidly growing across the Middle East and into Africa, Europe and Asia.
