Catering Coordinator Job in Bogota 07603, New Jersey US

Catering Coordinator needed for busy mid-sized catering company with a comfortable, professional, and friendly work environment.  Applicant must have excellent customer service skills and knowledge of foodservice is preferable.  Please email resume with cover letter.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Outlook, and Publisher

Excellent verbal communication skills

Command of written English and ability to write clean copy

Excellent email and phone manner

Attention to minute detail

Ability to establish and follow protocol

High level of organizational and multitasking ability

 

Tasks:

Lead customer contact, engaging clients throughout the process of planning, booking, and executing events

Create proposals and estimates for any events that require it

Maintain Calendar of Events

Create and distribute paperwork for all events, making sure that all versions in distribution are current

Update and maintain menus in conjunction with Executive Chef

Serve as liaison between kitchen and field staff

 

Starting compensation is $15.00 per hour with an additional sales based commission (approximately $6,000 per year at present sales).  Health insurance, paid vacation, and Employer Contributed Simple IRA are also available.
